Royal Meath – Club Competition Schedule September 2020.

3rd Major of the season- 

Secretary’s Prize- Sunday 13th Sept 36 Hole Strokeplay Competition- Ladies and Gents.

Entry €10-Tee off anytime from 9AM to 11AM as you arrive. 

Results and prize giving immediately afterwards.

As usual some members may be permitted at the discretion of the Competition Secretary to 18 Holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday or 36 Holes on Saturday if he deems it appropriate. 

Weekly Competitions in Sept 2020.

Monday Evenings Scramble – This will be an 18 Hole Competition. Currently 6.30PM. As the evenings are getting shorter we will continue to move the time and you will be notified both by text and by us posting the time on the website. Names must be in the clubhouse by the designated time each evening. Entry €5. This is a very suitable format for anyone who is new to Pitch and Putt as you will be sent out in a team of three and all of the team then plays from the position of the best ball each time. Open to Ladies & Gents

Wednesday Ladies Night, As per the Monday Scramble the will continue to move to avail of the light and you will be notified accordingly- 18 Hole Scramble – Entry €3

Thursday Night Strokeplay. Currently 6.45PM. Tee off time will move to avail of the light. To be announced each week. 18 Hole Strokeplay Competition. Entry €5 – Open to ladies and gents

Other Competition Dates– 

Saturday & Sunday 5th & 6th September- 36 Holes Singles Stableford

Play either Sat 1PM or Sun 10AM. A draw will be held for playing partners at the relevant time. Entry €5- Open to Ladies and Gents.

Saturday 19th Sept  – Club Matchplay Semi Finals

Sunday 20th Sept– 36 Hole Scotch Foursomes- 10AM- Draw for partners – Entry €5

Sunday 27th  Sept– Club Matchplay Final at 1:30pm

Deceased Members Shield- Saturday 26th Sept and Sunday 27th Sept. 36 Hole Strokeplay Competition—Ladies and Gents ……Entry €10

We would love to see as many members as possible playing in all of the competitions. Don’t worry if you are only new to the game – that is why we all have handicaps. Handicaps will be posted on the board in the clubhouse.
